I UNDERSTAND her but i would never DEFEND that sex. I did once hear a case of a woman falsely and knowingly saying someone was the father for money. In this case, he consented under the influence of alcohol when she didn’t. But yeah, don’t blame the woman for getting roofied (by accident), drunk or otherwise.
And that thing with the letter – what gives him the right to open her mother’s private letter, read the contents, steal it, and then refuse to let her daughter see it? I would have ripped him a new one right there. An upset Jang-mi asks if Ki-tae gave Se-ah a baby, but he’s too offended by the question to even answer. He counters by asking why she gave Yeo-reum money, and she says it’s business and takes offense in turn at his suspicion.

I definitely hope for Ki-tae’s mom to turn into a character I love (I already sort of do) and not go the typical mother-in-law route we’re used to seeing in dramaland. I want her and Jang-mi to be best friends at the end of this show. LOVE IT. One of my favorite moments in this show so far because the urgency in his hug reveals the vulnerability that he has hidden deep down, and I’m so happy it is Jang-mi who brings it out.
She asks Ki-tae to wait, but he rightly says if they wait until all the drama is over, it will never happen. Ki-tae and Jang-mi talk to her mother’s doctor, who’s optimistic about her surgery prognosis. The only concern is that she will lose that breast, but Ki-tae tells Jang-mi not to worry, since he knows a great doctor. Se-ah enters right on cue, and offers to do the reconstruction surgery at the same time as the removal, so Jang-mi’s mother doesn’t have to live through the shock of having only one breast. Meanwhile Ki-tae drinks with Dad, who’s calmed down enough to say that he understands that Ki-tae was just being cautious with Jang-mi.
Marriage Not Dating: Episode 15
The relationship gets serious when she has him move in with her and her mother. Melissa walks in after her mother gets Alan high on brownies and seduces him. But Alan is too high to explain what happened. Melissa DatingUpdates breaks up with him and kicks him out. In the season 6 finale, while Judith is giving birth to what is possibly Alan’s daughter, Alan and Melissa meet up and have sex in a closet, ultimately getting back together.
Mom says that Jang-mi doesn’t get to interfere just because she’s spent some time with the family, which is almost exactly what Ki-tae said to her the night before. Jang-mi, hurt, says that she could have sworn she was family given how badly they treated her. But she cries that she’s not like them, because she can’t keep her feelings locked up, and turns to leave. I really enjoyed the fall out in this episode, especially with the parents. It really felt believable and consistent with their characters and a long time coming. Man, seeing Jangmi’s father SO LIVID at finding out the truth – I was honestly scared for KiTae for a minute there.
In “Something My Gynecologist Said”, Lyndsey asks Alan for a commitment since her gynecologist has asked her out. Alan is reluctant, resulting in Lyndsey breaking up with him again. That night, Alan goes over to Lyndsey’s house and proposes to her. Alan tells her that as soon as he has enough money, he will put a deposit down on a ring. Seon-ho puts the phone down on the police and starts beating Seon-ho.
Team Dramabeans: What we’re watching
She is in some ways like Jang Mi too, esp. in the dating area. 😉
I’ll always remember her as Jang Mi, just like everyone who watched Girl K remembers her as Girl K. I’m excited for both of the leads and enjoyed them each immensely in this, but I’ve got to give extra props to Han Groo for being such a natural at the physical comedy. Anyway, they made a delightful OTP that I shall remember fondly for a long time. Comgratulations to Yeon Woo Jin and Han Groo! It’s my first time seeing Han Groo act and I’m even surprised because she’s so young!
But he refuses due to his relationship with Lyndsey. Towards the end of season 10, Lyndsey breaks up with Alan after she feels like all the spark in their relationship is gone. The only thing she really deceived them about was her parents being on a cruise. She just confessed that keeping the baby was her intention the whole time. She just needed Hoon Dong to want to mature and not be a mama’s boy. I got so frustrated and angry when she ruined his proposal!
However, they did stand next to each other for hours every day, so it is strange that Friend couldn’t manage to tell her. Jang Mi says “this fake relationship has cost me real things” but no matter what I don’t think that she would have had any idea of what’s happening with her friend. Especially if she had instead fallen into a real relationship with someone else. The posts are set up with the suggested sort “old” so that the comments flow in the correct order so users avoid any spoilers. Do not reply directly to the post, simply reply to the comment “episode #” that you are up to and reply to any comments you are interested in. 7 – this reminded me of Marriage Not Dating party posters, minus the humorous angle of guys looking rather unhappy in contrast to overly excited ladies – here everyone seems to have fun.
Hoon Dong is adamant on making Yeo Reum stay but when Yeo Reum walks out, Hoon Dong says that he’s firing him first. Hoon Dong’s mom walks in and fires him from the restaurant. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is that makes MND memorable for me. I think it has something to do with how honest and realistic the story is and how relatable the characters are and the situations that they go through. Of course, it is largely due to how good the main leads are in portraying their roles.
Se-ah asks what his relationship is with Jang-mi, but he just muses that she must be great because everyone seems interested in her. Se-ah says that it’s Ki-tae she’s interested in, and that she thinks Ki-tae isn’t serious about Jang-mi. Yeo-reum laughs at this…he thinks it’s the other way around, that Ki-tae is interested but Jang-mi isn’t.
Robin teamed up with Bridget to get Walden kicked off the board of directors because she felt he was using money irresponsibly (she give Alan a “happy ending” in the men’s room of a bar to accomplish this). In season 11, she appeared at a fundraiser with Lynda Carter, and at the end of the episode it is implied she had a threesome with Jenny and Lynda. A similar scenario occurs after her sons’ wedding, where she has a threesome with Michael Bolton and Evelyn Harper. Her family is involved in banking and oil, making them (and implicitly her) extremely wealthy.
